ND1 is a powerful and highly programmable calculator.
It supports both RPN and algebraic entry.

It can calculate with numbers, complex numbers, fractions, vectors, matrices, strings, images, algebraic expressions, and more types of objects.

Over 480 operators deliver a total of over 2,000 functions across all object types.

In many ways, ND1 is a modern day update to the RPL calculator line from HP (28, 48-50g).

It offers RPL, RPL+, JavaScript, networking, and modern graphics and storage. ND1 has an unlimited stack.

Try ND0 before you buy, if you're unsure ND1 is for you.

Examples of what you can do with ND1:
- graph two functions; see where they intersect; trace, zoom, translate (using familiar gestures); record trace points; email the graphs; store them for re-use
- solve a system of linear equations
- draw a pie chart of your statistical data; do a linear regression and predict values
- use a real-time stock quote in a calculation
- compute the area hyperbolic tangent of a complex number, or take the square root of a negative number
- see the WolframAlpha™ integration result for a function
- invert a 100x100 matrix
- work with arbitrary precision integers
- compute Pi or e to 1,000 digits, or see all 2,600+ digits in 1000! (factorial)
- convert between 160 units (all SI units, plus composites like force, charge, pressure, etc.); define your own units
- re-arrange keys and soft menus, or define your own
- organize your functions, programs, variables and other data in folders
- write an extension, like a new chart grapher, or a game, in JavaScript, using the JS framework of your choice
- email your data, or store it on a server (ours or yours), or do a direct exchange with your computer
- operate on MBs of data, and store GBs, if you must

ND1 doesn't yet have a CAS (Computer Algebra System), though it's being worked on. It will be available soon, as an optional extra. Currently, there's no internal support for symbolic math and calculus. Instead, for integration, differentiation, solving, Taylor, it goes out to WolframAlpha™ and displays results in the app-integrated browser. Double-tap and go back to normal stack display in an instant.

The app operates much faster than an HP calc, and has higher precision. Commands and general operation are largely compatible. ND1 is the only non-HP calc that can run many 50g programs.

You can flick through the stack with your finger, double-tap to make it go fullscreen (and display up to 19 lines), or extend the edit line to 5 lines for more room to write expressions.
You can use the store and recall keys to manage your user data (like on an HP calc), or you can use a Contacts app-like user interface for that.
Functions are organized in menus and appear on soft-keys.

Sharing features permit you to work on your programs, formulas, etc. on both your mobile device and your computer, and transition back and forth between them seamlessly.

You can rename or repurpose every key–even change around the entire key layout–and have a choice of skins, incl. your own.

ND1 gives you a choice of two configurations: Modern (as shown in the screenshots), and Classic (see iTunes icon and website), which adopts the look of an HP calculator.

Please see the support website for full specs, a "Quick Tour", tutorials, reference documentation, and a discussion forum, where support can be found.
