Application Description
This player makes MXF Clips to feel like QuickTime movies. Open or just drag nearly any flavour of MXF files into the MXF4free Player to watch it, even in full screen. Control 8 tracks of audio, the framerate, movie time, source package timecode, frame number and data rate. MXF4free Player can open the most MXF variations. It supports, among others, XDCAM HD, AVC-Intra, DNxHD, DVC-Pro HD, IMX-D10 (no audio) and DV. Of course it can playback QuickTime movies as well.
Appropriate codecs are required. These are the Apple ProApps QuickTime Codecs, Avid LE Codecs for DNxHD.
Playback of AES3 - Audio (D10) is currently not supported.
