Application Description
This application allows you to control any LockState Connect WiFi thermostat, any Axis WiFi camera, and monitor a TED 5000 whole home energy monitor from The Energy Detective.
The LockState Connect system allows you to connect WiFi enabled devices such as thermostats, and door locks (coming soon) to your existing WiFi router. No bridges or expensive equipment necessary. You can then control your home devices from an internet connected computer or your iPhone from anywhere in the world.
The application provides some basic features for FREE so that you can confirm that you are connected to your devices. For complete functionality of each device in-app upgrades must be purchased. For this application to control you devices they must first be registered on the LockState Connect device management portal. Please go to www.LockStateConnect.com to login and register your device if not already done. After the device is connected to the server, the iPhone application will be able to communicate with it. After purchasing a device from LockState, you will receive a user ID and password that must also be entered into this application to control your devices.
Thermostat Control
Forget to adjust your thermostat settings before you left for vacation? No problem. Simply open up your LockState Connect app and set the thermostat to away mode. Check in on your houses temperature anytime and make adjustments if needed.
This application allows you to monitor and control the settings on your thermostat. Multiple thermostats can be added to your account if you have more than one thermostat. Simply scroll through your thermostats to select the one you wish to control.
After selecting your thermostat, you can control the target temperature via the +/- buttons, choose to "hold" that temperature permanently and also assert the "Save Energy" button, which sets your thermostat +/- by 4 degrees. Pressing the Advanced button gives you control over the thermostat operating mode - heat, cool, auto or off. Additionally, you can set the temperature for a fixed time period.
Finally, the application supports setting your thermostat to your IN OUT or AWAY schedule. If you select Away mode, you can choose when you return and your home will automatically go back into IN mode at that time.
Axis WiFi Camera Control
This in-app upgrade will allow you to view live streaming video from any Axis WiFi cameras you have registered with your LockState Connect device management portal. Within the app you can scroll through your cameras and toggle between full screen and small screen. Once in full screen, if you are working with a Pan, Tilt, Zoom (PTZ) camera, then you can use finger gestures to control the lens of your PTZ camera. You will see a set of red crosshairs in the middle of the screen. By putting your finger on the crosshairs and pulling in any direction, you will see the camera lens move and a red arrow indicator will appear to indicate the direction of the move. Using two fingers and making a pinch zoom, or a pinch open gesture, you can change the zoom setting of the camera. Again, red arrows will appear to indicate what you have successfully commanded to happen. You can also use preset camera positions on a PTZ camera that allows presets and has preset camera positions configured.

The TED in-app upgrade allows you to monitor your TED whole home energy monitor.The app displays live information from your TED, including kW currently being used by your home, and the Voltage.
