Le Cercle Rive Droite de Grands Vins de Bordeaux (The Right Bank Circle of Great Bordeaux Wines) was founded in July 2002. It is a unique organisation formed to further quality and ethical practices. It groups together 140 chateaux, all of which strive to bring out the individual characteristics of the vineyards, which each tends with passion and energy. Out of the diverse range of interlocking appellations, of soil types and of people, Cercle Rive Droite aims to promote the reputation of a selection of wines whose watchword is resolutely excellence.
