The founder and Host Nina Capone started out as a radio Dj/personality in 2006 with “Girly Music Radio” using live 365 and Blog talk radio as broadcasting platforms. One of the first stations of its kind we started expanding rapidly. Already in the light as one of the most dominating female MC’s in the tri-state and a well known connection to industry moguls, it was not hard to create a buzz. Using resources from the music industry and social sites such as myspace, twitter and facebook the craze began. Although the show started out with a true focus on women Artist only, in 2007 we decided to change the name to In Da Streets Radio and cater to all Hip Hop and R&B artist nationwide. We have interviewed artist from all over the world, from Amsterdam to Panama with our unique artist based marketing technique our listening base continues to grow.

Taking a year off and returning this past July 2012 to the Blog talk platform we are seeing outstanding numbers for an internet based radio show. Our stats speak for themselves when it comes to our fans. We realize the need of the listener and what we mean to them. In Da Streets Radio is the New Age “Philly Mixtape” for music lovers everywhere. We do less talk and more underground and exclusive music playing and that’s why are downloads are so Itunes ready!

In Da Streets Radio has an all new show schedule starting from the 2nd of February which will be aired as shown on the attached schedule. We have multiple shows with multiple topics and genres of music reaching a diverse demographic. We have a awesome show website but our show can also be downloaded on itunes and more than 350 online applications not to mention in car-dashboard systems (GM, Ford, Mini, & BMW) and on SONOS via our Stitcher smart-Radio.
