Application Description

Just open the application to immediately see the stops around you with the belonging lines as annotations on you map - now ever faster thanks to the local cache - and the buses and taxis moving around you. Click on a bus to know its next stop, destination and route; click on a taxi to have more information and reserve it without any additional fee nor need to enter advance payment information.
Convenient buttons allow to locate the closest stop for your desired bus, and the closest bus or taxi, if you do not want to move the map.
At last no need to toss a coin before deciding whether to try to catch a bus on one size or the other of your position: the icons on the screen will do that for you!
Just click on one of the yellow icons to see the waiting times for the arriving buses. Know at a glance if any bus is arriving at a stop.
By entering a destination in the top field it is possible to receive the directions to there from wherever you are in Rome in a few seconds and even straightly the timetables for the direct bus, if present, and how much it would cost to get there by taxi thanks to the embedded virtual taximeter (service available worldwide)! All of this may also be attained by long touching the destination on the map and select whether to get there by public transit, transit, car or to set up a social travel - see below.
Notwitstanding, your use of this real time route guidance feature is at your sole risk. Location Data may not be accurate.
One last thing: although the application needs a regular functioning of the Rome or Milan transports web site (daily from 6.30 a.m. to 12 p.m.) in order to provide timely updates, even at night and when the web sites are down it is possible to know where stops are, which lines belong to them and their routes, what neither a direct web access, nor applications devoid of a specific back-office service would grant, and the local cache even grants a minimal form of offline usage even for dynamic information, and also use all the other services including the taxi and social feature.
Note: in addition to the block installed by Atac forcing users to unlock it by pressing the skull symbol, presently ATM in Milan has disabled the access to their lines and thereafter some information may be outdated for that city.
Do not forget to load it on your iPhone before coming to the Eternal City, but you may also use it even in your own country to take advantage of the taxi service available worldwide for subscribed drivers, and the social features.
