The GDC64 Wx application provides a visual display of certain weather characteristics in the U.S. and Canada when using a GDC64 TAIU with an appropriate Heads Up XM weather receiver.
Current displays include U.S. Radar, Canada Radar, Strikes, Shear, Tops and Satellite imagery.
The App also allows for last known aircraft position display on the map. User can zoom and pan to display desired map contents.
When displaying aircraft ICON, the map will automatically re-center when the ICON reaches the edge of the map. The Map is always drawn in the landscape position.
