WHAT IS CONCEALED WEAPONS ALERT?
Concealed Weapons Alert (CWA) is a Smartphone application designed display or notify subscribers upon entering an area that prohibits the carrying of weapons or firearms.
CWA is an effective and affordable protective measure not only designed to notify subscribers upon entering a prohibited carry zone, but also designed to educate and create awareness for the variety and quantity of “No Carry Zones.”
CURRENTLY THERE ARE OVER 10,000 “NO-CARRY ZONES” INDENTIFIED IN ALL 67 COUNTIES OF FLORIDA. ADDITIONALLY, THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF ACTIVE “GEO-FENCED” ZONES TRIGGERING ALERTS UPON ENTRY.

HOW DOES CWA WORK?
Utilizing innovative technology known as “Geo-Fencing”, CWA notifies its subscribers, via a unique audible tone and/or vibration, upon entering an area where it is unlawful to carry weapons or firearms. Examples of such places are: Schools, Colleges, Universities, Stadiums, Airports, Seaports, Train Stations, Post Offices, Law Enforcement Agencies, Jails, Courthouses and Government buildings.
WHY DO I NEED CWA?
In 2011 there were over 4,000 infractions in Florida alone. The legal cost to resolve an unintentional carry violation can exceed $10,000. Knowing the prohibited carry zones is only part of the solution. Often times an infraction is committed by a knowledgeable person who simply forgot they were carrying.
