Application Description
The AZ Elected mobile app is the only comprehensive, GPS-enabled mobile directory of elected officials in the state of Arizona. The New Media Innovation Lab at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication developed the app for a Tempe, Ariz.-based strategic communications company.
The app offers an easy-to-use source of information about Arizona’s elected officials and a fast way to contact them. Users can search for representatives by office, from the county to the federal level as well as selected towns and cities. With a GPS-equipped device, simply hit “GPS” and the app will provide a list of officials based on current location.
The app also provides comprehensive contact information for officials, including name, office, phone, fax, email, website, social media accounts, biographies and much more. From an iOS device, just touch to email or phone representatives.
