The Tokushima City Awa dance festival(Awa Odori 阿波おどり) is the very attracting folkdance event which is annually held August 12 - 15 as part of the Obon celemony in Tokushima Prefecture, Shikoku in Japan. Over 1.3 million tourists come to see every year. Of course everyone can join in the dance.

徳島市での阿波おどりは徳島県、毎年お盆の8月12日 - 8月15日の4日間に開催されます。
四国三大祭りのひとつとも言われ、全国から延べ130万人もの観光客が毎年徳島に集まり大賑わいとなります。約400年の歴史があるとされ、徳島市以外でも、徳島県内各地はもとより、全国、海外のあちこちで行われています。

このアプリは阿波おどりについてご紹介します。
