The app "aHa Exhibition" has been developed by aHa Experience. "aHa" means "Arts & History Alive". aHa aims at diminishing the (often) elitist character of art and culture by making it more accessible to everyone. This is done by making information and content of various types (multimedia) available through user friendly apps on popular devices such as smartphones and tablet PC's. As such, art and culture can become more comprehensible, interactive, personalized and supported by modern multimedia technologies. As a consequence, we are convinced that we are able to create a truly "aHa effect" with every user and visitor by adding new insights into arts, culture and history.

This app has been developed in this first version especially to support the exhibition "All in Order, with Exceptions", by the internationally renowned artist Nedko Solakov. The exhibition will take place at the S.M.A.K. museum in Ghent from 24 April till 3 June 2012. Next to extra comments about the exhibition, the museum, the artist and his 30 artworks currently exposed at S.M.AK., the app will give you access to unpublished interviews with the artist about (part of) his artworks and with several S.M.A.K. employees giving their opinion about the exhibition. Thanks to these items, your visit will absolutely be very enriched.

In addition to the extra content, you will also be able to give your own comments on the
artworks via the app, or to post tweets and share your visiting experience with your friends
on Facebook.
